Summer Camps at LifePlay Studio




Hello Birney Parents!

We know that summer camp planning is underway and we wanted you to know what our summer camp schedule is at the LifePlay Studio in Kensington. Below you have the class title and the week for each class. Camps are running from 9-3:30 each day, Monday -Friday bar any holidays. We will have a flyer out on camps after your spring break, but wanted to help you with your summer camp planning by getting this information to you as early as possible. Any questions or to register, please contact me directly as these camps will not be live on the website for at least one more week. Heartlight performs at Youth Fitness Expo

Just a quick note to the many of you out there that make Heartlight a HUGE Success. Here is a Big Picture in today's Union-Tribune of the kids performing at our big show this last Sat. in Balboa Park!!!!!!

It's on the cover of the SD Section. Check it out and thanks for all you do!!! The show was a great success. Over 1,200 children.

ICES is taking applications for its Spring Break Program. Sign up with Ryan in the Auditorium either before or after school. ICES needs to have 20 kids per week in order to offer the program. IF they do not have 20 kids they will cancel the week. So it is URGENT that you register NOW.

April 25-29



Program Time:

9:30 am - 3:30 pm

Prices are as follows:
5 days — $130 per week
4 days — $117 per week
3 days — $78 per week
2 days — $52 per week

Early morning drop off — 6:30 - 9 am
Late afternoon pick up — 3:30 - 6 pm
(Price for early morning & late afternoon is $20 per week.)

10% discount for siblings.

Spring LifePlay camp

Hello Birney Families!
We are thrilled to let you know that we are offering a spring LifePlay camp in our new LifePlay Studio!

This is a LifePlay Camp drawing from all of our curriculum areas of art, math, writing, theatre, yoga, gardening and outdoor sports and play. Each day of the camp is built around a life skill theme and students will have the opportunity to try and experimented with many new things all built to support the life skill theme for the day! It will be a fun and adventurous week.

The LifePlay studio is located at 4114 Adams Ave in Kensington, just behind the Burger Lounge. In addition to the projects within the studio each day, we will also have outside time at one of the three parks located within walking distance to the studio.

Camp Options are as follows:
1/2 day morning or afternoon - $30 per time
Full day option - $50 per day
Full week option - $225 per week
Camp hours are 9:00 - 3:30 each day

Don't Forget! Bedtime Stories TONIGHT

Once upon a time, children put on their pajamas, brought their pillows and blankets then curled up with their friends to hear their favorite stories...

Join us Wednesday, March 2nd at 6:30 pm in the Auditorium for Birney Bedtime Stories. Hear your favorite stories read aloud by your teachers and parents. Admission is FREE and the Birney PTA will provide popcorn and drinks.
