BEES Fall Fundraiser

Catalogs for this year's fall fundraiser went home with this week's Buzz. Uncle Jerry's T's offers over 150 reasonably priced items to choose from and includes something for everyone. Please help make our sale a success by showing the catalog to your family, friends and co-workers. A .pdf of the catalog is attached, for your convenience.

In addition to a few smaller prizes, students can choose ONE FREE ITEM from the catalog for every 12 items they sell. All orders are due by October 30, 2009. Please make sure there is a payment for each order, and remember to include sizes with T-shirt orders. Checks and money orders should be payable to Birney PTA. Orders will be delivered during parent-teacher conferences, November 16-20.

International Peace Day Celebrated

Wow! It is not hard to find reasons to love Birney.
On Monday, September 21, the students at Birney made a human peace sign on the playground. What a perfect way to celebrate the day and to show us that if we work together, beautiful things can happen. The kid are putting out the challenge for all of us to practice peace - EVERYDAY!
