Fun Halloween Events


From haunted hotels and ghost stories to monster bashes, music and the scary movies, Halloween parties and happenings in San Diego abound. Scroll through our list for events that'll grab you.

For kids/families
Enjoy an evening of critters, trick-or-treating, arts, crafts, music and more at the Zoo's popular Spooky Sleepover (Oct. 11, 18 and 25).

Create your very own sugar skull art at Bazaar del Mundo's annual Dias de los Muertos fest (Oct. 31-Nov. 2), at the Back From Tomboctou Gallery in Normal Heights and other county Dia de los Muertos events. Cruise for blockheads at Legoland's Brick or Treat (Oct. 4-26) celebrations or explore below the surface at Birch's Haunted Aquarium (Oct. 24-26).
