Day of Action in Defense of Public Education

On Thursday, March, 4, a coalition of California students, workers, teachers, parents, and their organizations and communities across the state plan to attend a Day of Action in Defense of Public Education. If there is money for bank bailouts and prisons, why is there no money for public education?

Help make March 4 an historic turning point in the struggle against the cuts, layoffs, and increases in class size by attending this rally. The San Diego Regional Rally will begin at 3 pm at Balboa Park, followed by March to governor’s office and a 4 pm Rally at the Governor’s San Diego office.

I'm having trouble finding just WHERE in Balboa Park this starts, but I found a blog that says '3pm gather at Centro Cultural de la Raza at Balboa Park', which is on Park Blvd. south of the children's playground.
