I think it would be a good idea for the PTA to promote a reading goal for the kids. A goal of 100 books before the end of the year.
The PTA would supply the kids with Tally Sheets. For younger kids, one book = 1 unit.
For older kids, every 25 pages of a chapter book would = 1 unit.
