Here is a list of supplies your 2 nd Grade child will need for the first week of school. We hope that by giving you this list early, you will be able to take advantage of the many Back To School sales. Any donations of supplies you would like to make to your child's specific classrooms will be greatly appreciated:Some items they may need:
1 pkg #2 pencils (ticonderoga preferred)
1 pkg colored pencils
1 pkg crayons
1 small pencil sharpener (with cover to catch shavings)
1 eraser
2 glue sticks
1 glue bottle
1 3-ring binder
1 folder with pockets (no brads)
1 pkg of dividers (teachers with label tabs at school)
1 pkg of lined paper
1 spiral notebook
1 pencil box
1 zipper pencil bag for binder
1 ruler (in. and cm.)
1 scissors

If at all possible, try to get enough like items to cover a classroom: K-3 24 per class, 4-5, 32 per class. So watch out for those big sales and try to pick up 24 of the same item, so we don't have issues with some people having the cool stuff and others not so much. I have found that if you tell them you are buying to donate to the school they will let me buy more than the maximum allowed (at least 2 or 3 times the max).
