Hi All,
Tomorrow, Friday and Saturday the Birney Elementary Players will be presenting Disney's Aladdin Jr. The kids and Katrina Peterson, Sandy Barksdale and Kai Lombard have been working tirelessly, along with a number of parents and other volunteers who have helped with sets, props and costumes, to put together a production that promises to be the best yet. We'll need some additional help to ensure things go smoothly. If you are available, please consider lending a hand in one of the following ways:
Thursday and Friday July 7 & 8
Front of House
Ticket Sales/Will Call - 3 people - 5:30 - 6:40
Ushers - 2 people - 6:10 - 6:40
Concessions
Setup - 1 person - 4:30 - 6:00 -
Flowers - 1 person - 4:30 - 5:30
Sales - 2 people - 6:00-6:30, intermission,
Clean-up - 2 people - after intermission (30-45 minutes)
Backstage
Hair and Makeup Assistant - 1 person - 5:00 - 7:00
Costume Assistant - 1 person 5:00 - 8:00
Cast Assistant - 6:00 - 8:00
Saturday July 9
Front of House
Ticket Sales/Will Call - 3 people - 3:00 - 4:10
Ushers - 2 people - 3:40 - 4:10
Concessions
Setup - 1 person - 2:00 - 3:30
Flowers - 1 person - 2:00 - 3:00
Sales - 2 people - 3:30-4:00, intermission,
Clean-up - 2 people - after intermission (30-45 minutes)
Backstage
Hair and Makeup Assistant - 1 person - 2:30 - 4:30
Costume Assistant - 1 person 3:00 - 6:00
Backstage Cast Assistant - 3:30 - 5:30
One side note, no one will be allowed 'backstage' before or during the play (including intermission) unless they are volunteering backstage. No one will be allowed in the dressing area until 1/2 hour AFTER the play unless they are volunteering, this is to assure the privacy of the actors and actresses in the dressing area.
