2nd Grade School Supplies

Dear Families of Incoming Second Grade Students,

We are looking forward to meeting you next year.  Here is a list of supplies your child will need for the first week of school.  We hope that by giving you this list early, you will be able to take advantage of the many Back-To-School sales.  Any donations of supplies you would like to make to your child’s specific classroom will be greatly appreciated.

Your child should have:

-1 package of yellow Number 2 pencils

-1 package of 8 colored markers

-1 package of 24 crayons

-glue sticks, (three or more)

-1 eraser

-1 pair scissors

-wide-ruled lined paper

-1 inch 3-ring binder

-5 tab dividers

-1 pocket folder

-1 spiral notebook

-1 plastic pencil box (8 ½ x 6)

Other items that our classes will use and would love to have donated include:

Gift cards to Staples, Target, etc. (to be used for purchasing additional supplies)

Kleenex boxes

Hand sanitizer pumps

Hand soap with pump

Extra pencils

Sanitizing wipes

Extra lined paper

Extra glue sticks, (always needed!)

Scotch tape

White paper for computer printers

Blue or black pens
